How To Apply For A US Visa

A lot of people want to go the United States and apply for work.  However, in order to work in the United States and you are not a resident of U.S. then you need to apply for a working visa.  However there are different kinds of visa that one can apply.

There are two applications of US Visa:

1         Immigrant Visa
    - This is granted to those applicants who wanted to reside in United States permanently.  Now order for an  applicant to apply you should have a sponsor.  That sponsor should be a resident of America and he or she should be submitting an affidavit to the US embassy that states the resident financial statement.

2       Non Immigrant Visa 
    - People who are applying to this kind of visa application are those who wanted to enter the United States of  America territory for certain purposes such as education, medical treatment, etc.

How to apply for US Visa
  • Start by setting an appointment with the Visa consulate at the US Embassy.  In order to set an appointment you can do it by phone, mail or internet.  It is important that you need to confirm the fees prior to going to the embassy.  
  • Never forget to bring all the necessary documents during the interview such as valid passport, application form, and other documents to support the application form.
  • Submit your visa application form along with your passport and documents to the Visa consulate.  Keep in mind that there is no guarantee that you will get a visa approved right away, everything depends on the interview with the Visa officer.
